How can I join?

Each Worship Gathering concludes with a Time of Commitment.  You may become a member of Bethel Baptist Church in three ways:

  1. By Baptism:
When you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, you make your faith known publicly by being baptized as a believer by immersion.
  2. By Letter:
If you have trusted Jesus Christ alone as your Savior and Lord and have been baptized by immersion, you need to come forward requesting that we write the church of which you are currently a memeber stating that you have come by letter into our church.  They in turn will send us a letter confirming that you have been a member there and are transferring your membership from their roll to ours.
  3. By Statement:
    a.  If you used to be a memeber of a Baptist church, but have since joined a church of another denomination (or for some reason are not sure where your membership currently is), you can state this and request that we receive you into membership by statement of your faith in Christ as your personal Savior and Lord.
    b.  If your church records have been lost or the church of which you were a member has been disbanded, you should come by statement of faith.
