Operation Christmas Child is a ministry by Samaritan’s Purse that sends gift boxes to children in 170 countries around the world.   Over 200 million shoebox gifts have been delivered since 2009.  Each shoebox gift is filled with toys, school supplies and hygiene items.  In addition to a gift box, children participate in a 12-lesson discipleship course, The Greatest Journey.  The Gospel is being spread via this exciting outreach program.

Bethel promotes this ministry by collecting and assembling shoebox gift boxes.  We collect items throughout the year and then host Packing Parties to assemble boxes.  Once a year we ship our collection to an OCC distribution center.  Each year we strive to reach as many children as we can.  We are very excited that this ministry has grown year over year!
